DESCRIPTION
CGD, the largest financial institution in Portugal, is looking for an Information Systems Specialist - UNIX/LINUX to join our team in Lisbon.
The Technological Solutions Administration area is responsible for ensuring the management, evolution and operation of the technological infrastructures supporting CGD's business, namely through the planning, execution and management of current IT operational activities, aiming at daily availability and operability infrastructures for communications, security, systems, platforms and applications, as well as the design and implementation of IT infrastructure evolution projects in line with the business strategy and operational needs.
Responsibilities
Create support infrastructure for applications on Linux or Solaris Operating Systems;
Install applications/products in Linux or Solaris environments;
Automation of deployment of application releases in Linux or Solaris environments;
Production support and incident resolution on-prem;
Implementation of infrastructure projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree and/or Master in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar;
3 to 5 years experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris Systems Administration;
Linux/Unix/Solaris/AIX System Administration;
Apache HTTP Server, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss Application Server, Jboss EAP (preferred factors);
Scripting languages (Bash Script, Javascript, Pearl, Python);
C++/C, HA Proxy, Java, Java EE 5, Java/JSP, Javascript, PHP;
Good analytical skills, critical sense, logical/structured reasoning and ability to solve complex problems;
Ability to develop new ideas and implement creative solutions;
Ability to work autonomously, flexibly and dynamically;
Good relationship skills, communication and work in multidisciplinary teams;
Verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English;
Ability to translate detailed technical concepts into meaningful metrics for C-Levels.
